Price Guide

Rather than giving prices or making assumptions on the value of gil in-universe, a system has been devised to give rough estimates. All payment is in-character only and it is up to you to determine if your character is capable of affording anything.

$$ - Reasonable for a working-class citizen to save up for; a significant portion of one month's pay
$$$ - Beyond the means of a working-class citizen, but reasonable for middle-class citizens

A small vial filled with a blood-red liquid that glitters in the light. An eyedropper is provided.

Place 1-2 drops beneath the tongue to induce arousal. Effects vary, but sensations of restlessness, elevated heartrate, and mild breathlessness are expected.

A flask of a shimmery golden liquid that fades to a warm orange glow at the bottom.

Add an onze to any drink to induce a sense of ease and encourage chattiness. While users will be more talkative and open than usual, truthfulness is not guaranteed. Has a mild citrus flavour.

A small vial filled with a creamy white liquid that turns pearlescent in direct light.

Drink to greatly increase virility or the chances of pregnancy regardless of user's sex. Single use only. Will not work if user is infertile - consult a chirurgeon if fertility issues persist.

Drink an onze to feel extremely affectionate. Dramatically increases the desire for physical affection, turning even the most stoic into cuddlebugs. Has a mild peach flavour.

A small glass bottle containing 20 capsules filled with a pale green powder.

Take one pill to dramatically increase stamina and to reduce the recovery period necessary between rounds for those who need it. Will not help you get it up, but will help you keep it up.

A small box that looks like it contains powder foundation or blush. Typically provided in soft pink tones, but may be custom-ordered in any colour.

Mix a teaspoon into food or drink to induce a medical coma. 1-2 onzes will sustain the coma indefinitely, while 5+ (depending on bodyweight) will cause fatal liver damage.

Widow's Best Friend

Slow Fade

A glass bottle with a label that describes the contents as medicinal-use for vitamin deficiency. Contains a thick, cough syrup-like liquid.

Add one half-onze to hot tea to induce the symptoms of treatment-resistant illness. Space out dosage to allow a chirurgeon to attempt (and fail) treatment. Strong medicinal taste.

Cobra's Kiss

Paralyzing Neurotoxin

A small flask of clear, odorless and tasteless liquid. Eyedropper, syringe, or cloth to apply to knives provided on request.

A potent neurotoxic venom. 1-2 drops will cause numbness, dizziness, and nausea, but eases pain. 1 onze will cause paralysis and asphyxiation within 2-3 bells of consumption. Can be drank or injected.

Forget-Me-Not

Heart Attack in a Bottle

A small bottle of deep, blood-red liquid with a syrupy consistency. Smells strongly of iron. Measuring syringe provided.

Mix one onze into drink to suddenly increase heartrate and blood pressure and cause eventual cardiac arrest. Begins to take effect immediately, but requires 3-4 bells to become fatal.

Two small vials of liquid, one clear and odorless and the other pitch black and sharp-smelling.

A specialty poison made only on commission. Mix both vials and use immediately. Do not touch with bare hands. A potent neurotoxin that causes paralysis combined with a necrotizing venom that dissolves flesh at the aetheric level. Causes numbness, dizziness, muscle failure, and collapse that precedes total organ failure and liquification. Strong void aetheric signature when mixed. 2 week shelf-life.

Antidotes

Antidotes and antivenoms intended to reverse the effects of potions, poisons, and the bites of certain species of venomous animals. All come in sizes intended for personal/non-commercial use. Bulk orders are only available for the Breath of Fresh Air - see commissions below for more details. Last Chances have a limited shelf-life depending on the serum.

Want to play with chance? The Spider's Lily's antidotes can add a +5 bonus to rolls (out of 20) to resist the effects of any poison or potion. Players are encouraged to discuss together what would be appropriate to the situation otherwise.

Breath of Fresh Air

Liquid Esuna

Comes in either liquid or gel capsules. Both are filled with a soft blue liquid.

The same effects as an esuna spell, but in easy-to-consume form that can be taken anywhere without need for a caster. Can cure mild poisonings and some spell effects, but it is not a cure-all. Does not work for poisons made by The Spider's Lily.

Contents vary, but are generally a small vial filled with a clear liquid.

Antidotes for poisons made by The Spider's Lily must be specifically made to counteract the effects. Limited quantities are available on demand for the more popular poisons, but usually must be requested.

Commissions

As The Spider's Lily is a small business, large orders can cause significan supply shortages. As such, there are order limitations in place. For those that wish to purchase bulk orders of any potion, antidote, or poison, or who wish to order for commercial use (i.e for use in taverns or other venues), commissions are available. Please keep in mind that commercial use only extends to potions and antidotes and is unavailable for poisons (for obvious reasons).

Custom potions and poisons are available for commission as well. Have a specific effect in mind? Ask for the order form and we will see what we can do for you!

As with all items on this menu, gil is IC only. Bulk delivery can be assumed without need for a follow-up roleplay unless specifically requested. Want to genuinely provide effects listed for your venue? Simply ask for permission OOC! Venue owners are welcome to set their own roll thresholds if desired.
